FAMILY SERVICE ADVOCATE

2 POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Northwest Community Action Inc. Badger, MN is seeking applications for 2 Family Service Advocate Positions.

Full time, forty hour a week positions. Job duties consist of data entry, reporting, and working with clients in one on one emergency situations.

Preferred education and experience: Minimum of 2 year degree in Human Services and/or related field. Good computer skills are a must.

Must have a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Must have good reading, writing, and communication skills.

FAMILY SERVICE MANAGER - HEAD START

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with children, families, and community organizations

Position Overview:
The Family Service Manager will implement and oversee Family Service programs following Head Start Performance Standards. This position requires collaboration with parents, community resources, and Head Start staff to effectively support families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to Head Start Performance Standards regarding Family Partnerships and other Family Services requirements.
  • Work with staff and parents to develop Family Partnership Agreements and follow-up Plans of Action to address identified needs.
  • Annually develop and execute the Recruitment Plan of Action, including outreach strategies, child enrollment, and management of waiting lists.
  • Prepare reports for the Family Services Policy Council, assist in planning and facilitating Policy Council meetings.
  • Partners with county social services, schools, and other agencies to coordinate services effectively.

PART-TIME PROJECT COORDINATOR

Join our Team!!  Team EPIC is looking for a part time Project Coordinator. 

Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementation of activities and other strategies related to the mission of Team EPIC, as well as partnering with key community organizations, managing volunteers, and working with Team EPIC Youth Coalitions. 

Some activities and meetings may be during early morning, evening and weekend hours. Background check, MN drivers license, and reliable transportation for travel within Roseau County is required.
